Whatever the reason you’re in the ski club, whether it be the kick ass holidays, numerous competitions or you just love being a ski bunny, we have many socials throughout the year for your enjoyment. The reputation of SUSSC socials is known throughout the country, from the Extreme Ball to the Isle of Wight pub golf and everything in between. Our socials are some of the best and biggest of all the clubs in the Athletic Union. There’ll be fancy dress, great djs, gushings of booze and hundreds of SUSSCateers at your fingertips. The nightlife on the holidays is always killer with drinks deals and great/quirky/semi-naked fancy dresses. The Extreme Ball in autumn will be packed full of all the extreme sports clubs with awesome music and alcohol a plenty. Before the Christmas trip we’ve got a great party lined up with awesome give-aways including free trips. There will be trips to ski movies such as the yearly release of the new Warren Miller film at which you can win a car! Along with this we will be heading to other snowsport events such as LG Freeze and the London Ski Show. Later in the year there is the Dakkar Rally, one of the few opportunities to race around the Portswood boozeries dressed as a motor vehicle, and the Isle of Wight pub golf through the establishments of the lovely Cowes, see if you can beat a par of seven! So whether you’re into boned out corked nines, cruising your favourite blue, just learning the snowplough or have no idea what any of that meant then come down to a SUSSC social and i’m sure you’ll have a great time!
