Whether you are looking to try out snowsports for the first time (as they look so damn fun) or for pow, piste, park or parties there is something for everyone! NIGHTLIFE:
The nightlife in Val Thorens is the stuff of legend – boasting a huge variety of bars and clubs, with a rammed social itinerary that definitely won’t leave you disappointed. It has the largest night club in the Alps, Malaysia, open until 4am, and is renowned as the party capital of France!

MOUNTAIN MEAL?
DEFINATELY worth it! It is the best night of the week. We all have an awesome meal up the mountain (plus lots of free wine), a proper party, and ski down (or try to) guided by torchlight. In black tie and other posh attire!
EQUIPMENT:
All equipment is taken through Ski Set the largest suppliers of equipment in the French Alps. The following is guideline for which equipment is best for you:
Bronze: As you would expect this is perfect for beginners who are visiting the snow for the first time.
Silver: Anyone who is on their second trip and is looking to progress fast onto to the more difficult terrain should pick this category. It is also the category perfect for beginner snowboarders.
Gold: This is for advanced skiers or snowboarders who want to specialize in certain areas such as freestyle, off-piste or racing. This equipment is all of high quality and you will be given a choice of which skis or snowboard you want when in the shop.
Beginner packaes: The pack includes 6 days of equipment hire and 6 hours of tuition. This option is for those that have NEVER skied or snowboard before. The ski package includes 6 days bronze skis, boots and pole hire. The snowboard package includes 6 days silver snowboard and boots hire.
LIFT PASS UPGRADE?
Probably not worth upgrading if you're a beginner (2-3 weeks or less) on snow, but it is advised if you're not a beginner and want to explore the other resorts and a total of 600km of piste.
Important Booking Information
Before you can book you will need to pay SUSSC membership; you can do this online or by coming to mince with the committee on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Stags from 12-2pm. If you don’t do this your place will not be confirmed!
